Fun time at park

We went to a nearby park today. Though its not our first visit but this was the first time Suhas has truly enjoyed playing there. Earlier he was a bit shy to even get down from my arms. There was no stopping him today and was a bundle of energy and left me gasping for breath. He wanted to try all the rides and wanted badly to climb up to the slide without stopping inbetween. Though I was very happy that he finally dropped his guard and enjoyed with other kids, it left me weary running after him trying to protect him from falling down. I know this is just the beginning and there is so much more of this to come, so I have to better build up my stamina to match suhas's energy levels. And suddenly his little mind diverted to a screw of a swing around which the swing was rotating and I was not surprised taking into account his fascination for screws and things like that. Keep it up Suhas!! This is a pic of him enjoying a rather quite moment at the park:

Even as it was not a very cool park he liked it nonetheless and that is more important right?

Playing with mom's computer

...And this is how Suhas likes to learn computers :)

Suhas has 3 books which I read to him whenever he fancies. It has good colourful pictures of fruits, vegetables and animals. He sometimes even sits down with them himself and quietly turn pages and keep pointing with his little index finger. Today when I got home some veggies and placed them all on the floor to sort them and pack them in fridge, I asked him which one is cauliflower and he promptly pointed to it. He was learning from that book afterall. All this time I thought those books catches his attention because of its bright colours.

These days Suhas understands almost everything we talk to him. Today he was crying just to be entertained and I told him that he should not cry like that and asked him to smile and pat came a smile. Should I ask for more!! There are few things though which I find difficult to deal with sometimes. He doesn't like to sleep. Earlier he used to sleep 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Now he has stopped the morning nap and even feel rebellious when I put him to bed for the post lunch sleep too. I just manage to make him sleep though.

He does a very strange thing these days. He tucks his tummy in and leave it out as if doing breathing exercise and has fun doing it. Wonder where he learnt this one!!

This blog is about my naughty son Suhas, his everyday discoveries and his growing up. This is my earnest attempt to preserve reminiscences of his childhood for posterity. Once he grows up, this will serve as refreshing and hopefuly humorous dip into his childhood. Suhas has started to amaze me so much with his activities and new games, that it was getting difficult to remember all the things he did which made me laugh. So the idea of opening this blog was born.
The story so far:
He was always an active baby though he was born underweight. Even when he was a baby his legs were always on the move as if he was cycling. He started walking at 13th month and it was a whole new world for him waiting to be discovered. He would come to the kitchen, open all the racks, get hold of some dabbas and play with it for some time and he has a fetish for bottles and its cap. He likes to open and close it again and again, and different shapes of bottles and containers with their lids on. Also keys holds his interest no end. He loves to play with different kinds of keys, attempting to insert them into locks trying to open it. He also likes screws, car's tyre caps and all the things pertaining to mechanics. U can notice the difference between a boy and girl activity at such an early age!!
